Not a lot to say here.
Mountain biking is my passion and became a lifestyle to me, but I also know that there is more to life than cycling.
I try to put my family first. I have a wonderful supportive wife and 3 beautiful children, with a 4th one due in August. Nina is 2 years old, Amelie 6 and Seth 8. I am blessed to have a family that is very much supportive of and interested in my cycling. We turn races into a family affair and they are always at the finish line to cheer their dad on. Seth loves riding his bike and displays some definite talent. We don't want to pressure him at all though and want him to develop naturally.
I am also a Bible believing Christian. Our local church, The Rock in Paarl, plays a big part in my family's life.
Bread is put on the table through my career as a landscaper at The Pink Geranium Nursery. I am blessed to say that I dig (pun intended) my job. Plants have always been a passion of mine and I am privileged to work outside most of the time.
